What MBA Scholarships Can I Apply for?

Trinity Business School offers significant scholarship funding to a limited number of talented applicants. This is to promote gender, geographic and sector diversity, alongside recognition for academic and professional excellence. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to fulfill future ambassadorial duties for the School.

Scholarship applications must be made when submitting your application for a place on the programme. Read below about the various scholarships we offer.

Trinity MBA & FCCA pathway

Trinity Business School and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have partnered to equip Irish accountants and finance professionals with the skills to thrive in a rapidly changing professional environment. A unique MBA entry pathway for FCCA (Fellowship) members waives the GMAT entry requirement and qualifies such members for one of six available bursaries each valued at €5,000.

Closing date: Trinity MBA & FCCA Bursaries are awarded on a rolling basis.

30% Club Scholarship for Women in Leadership 

This scholarship is delivered in partnership with the 30% Club Ireland for female candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential. The 30% Club Scholarship aims to foster greater representation of women at executive level in business organisations.
Two 50% scholarships are available.
To be eligible for one of these scholarships all female candidates must:

  1. Successfully apply for the Trinity MBA before the 14th June 2020. Click HERE to apply.
  2. Upload Scholarship form to your MBA application.
  3. A shortlist of candidates is then announced on the 26th June 2020.
  4. Shortlisted candidates are called to interview during the week of the 1st July 2020.
  5. The winners will be announced on the 9th July 2020. 

The Séamus McDermott Entrepreneurship Scholarship

To honour the incredible contribution of Séamus McDermott to entrepreneurship in Ireland, The Liffey Trust is providing four €10,000 scholarships for entrepreneurs resident in Ireland.

Applicants must be proven entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs or SME owners/managers who are making an impact on the economy or society.

Social Impact Scholarships

Candidates who have experience at a non-governmental organization (NGO), charity, or a social organization responsible for implementing solutions that benefit society as a whole are eligible to apply for one of the four Social Impact scholarships valued at €10,000 each.

Closing date: Trinity MBA Social Impact Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and a limited number are available. To avoid disappointment early application is highly recommended.

Trinity MBA Alumni Bursary 

Four scholarships available for 15% of tuition fees for members of the Trinity Alumni community.

Closing date: Trinity MBA Alumni Bursaries are awarded on a rolling basis and a limited number are available. To avoid disappointment, early application is highly recommended. TCD alumni who submit a Trinity MBA application will be considered for one of the bursaries.
