With a background in luxury hospitality management, Fulvio reached a pivotal point in his career - he was eager to transfer his skills onto a new career path. When looking for an appropriate postgraduate programme, the MSc in International Management stood out for its diverse curriculum aimed at business graduates looking to excel in international careers.   After completing my BA in Hotel Management, dedicating several years to acquiring valuable, hands on experience in the hospital sector, I reached a pivotal point in my professional career. I needed to make a shift, but I was unsure how to do so - I contemplating pursuing a postgraduate degree that would deepen my understanding of international dynamics in the corporate world and allow me to establish a strong network in a collaborative environment.  After thorough research, Trinity Business School's MSc in International Management emerged as the ideal choice for me. The university's global recognition, esteemed reputation, and Triple Accreditation were certainly compelling; however, I was most looking forward to utilising the school's Careers Service and tapping into Trinity's extensive corporate alumni network. These elements solidified my decision, aligning perfectly with my professional aspirations and goals. Coming from a highly specialised background and seeking a career change, I was in search of a programme that could provide me with the necessary skills and tools to facilitate this transition. The MSc in International Management programme captivated my interest due to its diverse curriculum. The modules within the programme cover various business domains such as HRM, marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, and more, all at an international level. This makes it an ideal choice for young professionals eager to dive into the international corporate arena, particularly those with broad interests or those contemplating a career shift. The MSc in International Management programme offers practical, hands-on experience with existing companies. This allows students to apply their learning in real-world contexts, not only in Dublin but also during a residency week in Spain scheduled in the Hilary Term. This blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application truly sets the program apart, providing an enriching and dynamic educational experience. Before arriving in Dublin, I set several goals for myself - I wanted to undergo a complete transformation both personally and professionally. I was really looking forward to building new, meaningful and long-lasting relationships with my classmates and lecturers. One of the most valuable aspects of my time at Trinity Business School is undoubtedly the rich tapestry of connections and the vibrant multicultural environment it fosters. It is more than just an academic experience; it is a journey of self-discovery, guiding me to understand the right path for my future. The guest speakers and company visit we had so far, were particularly enlightening, offering real-world insights and practical knowledge that went beyond traditional classroom learning. Trinity Business School is, itself, a dynamic educational hub, brimming with events and initiatives that enhance our learning experience and broaden our perspectives. This unique blend of community, culture, and opportunity at Trinity Business School has been instrumental in shaping both my professional outlook and personal growth. The invaluable support from the Trinity Business School Careers Service has been pivotal, as they have provided me with tailored guidance for navigating the job market in Ireland and offering insights that are crucial for building a successful career in this region. This comprehensive educational experience has enhanced my understanding of networking intricacies and the critical role of forging meaningful professional relationships. Overall, this journey has been a profound personal learning experience. It has highlighted areas where I can improve and grow personally for my future career success. This holistic approach to education is preparing me not just for a career, but for a meaningful and fulfilling professional life. To future applicants of Trinity Business School, my advice is straightforward: savour your time here and try not to dwell on the insecurities and fears that often accompany the start of a new academic journey. Part of this journey is to enjoy the process and remain open to new opportunities that arise. Sometimes, the best experiences are those we never anticipated. Embrace your time at Trinity Business School, live in the moment, and remember that personal growth and enjoyment are just as important as academic and career achievements.
